Require notes when people log time
Who can use this feature?
   Only Administrators can use this feature.

Notes are an optional field inside the time entry interface that allows people to provide additional details about what specific work was done while they were working on a project.

If you would like to require that all employees enter notes when they create a time entry, you can enable that option on your settings page.

Enabling Required Notes

  1. Go to the Settings Page in your Time IQ account
  2. Scroll down to the “Time Tracking” section on the settings page
  3. Select “yes” in the “Require Nots” dropdown menu.

Once enabled, all people will have to enter notes before they can save a time entry.
